Must Have Monday: Pillow Spray for Sleep

Helloooo Monday. Crazy to believe it’s already here, right?

OK, so you guys already know that I am TEAM SLEEP. Whatever I can do to help me get the best possible rest, I immediately incorporate into my routine. Like my blue light blocking glasses– if you don’t know about these yet, you MUST read about them here.

But why do I care about sleep so much? This blog is about parties, and cocktails, and other happy things. Not about health, right? BUT WAIT – you can’t be a party starter if you don’t take care of yourself. Seriously.

We’ve all been there. It’s obviously going to be a killer night but OOPS ya didn’t get sleep the night before so you bail out early. Every party has a pooper and now it’s you because you stayed up late staring at the ceiling.

Hoping you get the point here: sleep matters for ALL OF US. Also, I’m always on board for anything that saves me time. Beauty, health, wellness, etc. are all so important – but I’m lazy AF when it comes to stuff like this. I don’t want to spend 20 minutes on a face routine just to get ready for bed. I want a few easy, simple products that really perform.

Which brings me to today’s topic: PILLOW SPRAY! So, anyone else get totally into the essential oil diffuser trend and then let that one go accidentally? Yeah.. it happens. I found mine in a cabinet the other day along with all my oils. I tried to use it, and then about 2 days in I was reminded how much of a hassle it is. Just not for me. I LOVE the benefits though and am so jealous of people who can keep it up – I’m not that girl though.

My favorite way to use my essential oil diffuser though was … you guessed it … SLEEP. I’m ALLLL about those aromatherapy vibes at bedtime. If you’ve never tried, you are missing out. But obviously if I am too lazy to use my diffuser (so pathetic) I had to search for an alternative.

aaaaand the pillow spray was purchased. game changer.

So let me break this down for you. What if you could get all the cozy, let’s wind down vibes of a diffuser without the whole water and add drops of oil situation? Oh yes. The pillow spray is totally ready to go, you just mist your bed a few moments before you are ready to sleep, and you’re good to go. So simple.

Did I mention it smells soooo amazing? You could even make your boyfriend do it for you? It’s way simple, even he could do it without screwing up.

My nighttime routine with the pillow spray >>>>

  1. Plan to go to sleep at 11pm. Get sidetracked doing 13879274 other things and say “oh shit” at like 11:22pm. Good thing I have my blue light glasses on, that’s all I have to say.
  2. Do my night time face routine –  I keep it simple. Face wash, toner, retinol serum, eye cream, lotion, goodbye.  Oh, and I brush my teeth. (Duh)
  3. Head to my bedroom – turn down my sheets and spray my PILLOW SPRAY.
  4. Change into PJs while I let the pillow spray diffuse a bit.

Super simple, right? The best part is, when I say that I sleep, I mean that I sleep. Like within 5 mins. It’s ALLLL about the blue light glasses & pillow spray. That’s the key here.

Let’s talk where you can get pillow spray – you guessed it, amazon. I have purchased several different pillow sprays off Amazon, I’ve also bought them from health stores or Whole Foods. You do you with this one.

Personally, I am so bad about remembering little things like this when I go to the grocery store. I tell myself I’m going to get more face wash or whatever else, and then I get all distracted in the snack aisle and life goes downhill. Ya know?

So, best bet for me is to just order on Amazon. That way I can forget about it, and in two days the fairies appear on my door with it. Incredible.

Here are a few of my faves from Amazon:
